Carob
(Ceratonia siliqua)

Carob is the dried and ground fruit of the carob tree, which, when roasted, has a pronounced chocolate flavor.
Carob is considered an excellent ingredient for those who care about their health, as it contains no fat and no caffeine. This makes it useful for those who cannot afford coffee or tea due to cardiovascular problems.

In turn, kerob is rich in vitamins A, B, and D, and its composition is rich in iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus.
Carob is considered a healthy substitute for cocoa, but we know for sure that they complement each other to the maximum! That's why we use this combination in our boosters.

Interesting fact: carob is mentioned as a carob tree in such ancient scriptures as the Bible and the Talmud, which indicates its ancient history. The scripture states that John the Baptist, fulfilling his mission in the desert, ate only the fruit of this tree and the honey of wild bees. The sweet fruit of this tree, i.e. the carob itself, was called ‘John's bread’.
